My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were designed with a unique style and were very clean and comfortable. However, the window directly above the bed without sufficient shades became a problem due to Iceland's summer sun that never sets. The service was friendly and accommodating overall, but there was a surly reply when requesting an early breakfast before 8 am. The location was outstanding, centrally located and perfect for exploring Reykjavík on foot, with easy access to tour pick-up locations. The dining experience was disappointing with limited options, leading me to dine out. Despite this, the hotel retained a homely vibe and had a rustic, communal dining area. Facilities were adequate but could be improved.

I felt like I was at home with twin beds in the basement. The morning noise from people going to breakfast was a bit bothersome, but the staff made up for it with their wonderful and friendly service. The hotel's outstanding location in the centre of town was absolutely perfect for exploring Reykjavik on foot, and the wide range of dining options, including Icelandic Skyer yogurt and avocados, made my stay even more enjoyable.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel! The rooms were private, clean, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The breakfast was brilliant, and I always felt a very warm welcome. However, the slanted roof made the room a bit small, which was understandable.

I stayed at this cozy B&B right in the heart of Reykjavik, surrounded by museums, shops, and restaurants. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the lounge area was a nice touch. The bathroom was a bit small, but it added to the charm of the place. The staff were incredibly friendly and even sent us a helpful letter in advance about bus stops for our tours. The location was perfect for exploring the city and accessing bus stops easily. The dining options were minimalistic but good, offering some local specials like waffles on certain days. Overall, a charming spot with great service and an excellent location.
